WM Marples Shamrock 1.5” Bevel Edge Firmer Chisel

Lovely old bevel edge chisel by WM Marples, featuring the Shamrock logo.

This chisel is late 1800 / early 1900, certainly from the earlier period of bevel edge chisel design by Marples.

The steel is a little pitted and requires sharpening before use. Otherwise a good item for the collector.

The handle is damaged as can be seen in the images.
