Stanley No 120 User Modified Block Plane

Interesting little user modified Stanley No 110 block plane.

The plane body has been shortened and then lever cap has been replaced with a user made brass or bronze item.

The iron is marked Stanley Rule & Co

Whilst not original this is a lovely little plane and its former owner has done a nice job of tailoring it for a specific job.
