Antique Interesting Primitive Copper Head Hammer or Iron

A very interesting tool which we are a bit uncertain on its actual use…..

Possibly a copper hammer or soldering iron. The construction is very primitive suggesting 19th or possibly even 18th century.

The ‘wave’ pattern has signs of something burned into it.

This is a really nice item suitable for display or part of a collection.
