This wonderful plough plane is one of several items we acquired from a clearance of woodworking tools from the Merrythought Teddy Bear Factory in Ironbridge, Shropshire.
These items were in the original ironworks & foundry buildings when Merrythought took over the site in 1930. Some lovely provenance and a piece of history from the “Birthplace of the Industrial Revolution”
This rare & highly collectible I-SYM plane is complete and in good order with a radius iron for hollowing. It bears the woodworkers name T.W Simmonds.
